Reading
A quick update for local news. I held a successful reading of The Short, Happy Life of Vincent Gennaro last night. This was the first time I had heard it read out loud in one sitting. I’d been meaning to hold a reading for some time, especially after the completion of Curtain, and I must say I was very happy with how it turned out. A big thanks to everyone that helped out, including Paige, Steven, Cat and Shannon, Curtain alums Matt, Darryl and Joy, and to Dana for making it in at the last minute.
This effort was a more informal endeavor, so I am sorry to say no audio recording survived the reading–none that was comprehensible at any rate, though much fun was had, and the burbon balls were much enjoyed by all. I will keep you posted as to the possibility of future readings of Vincent and other ideas as they develop. And of course future screenings of Curtain will be much publicized.
