Further Adventures
I know I have been neglecting my blog of late. What can I say? Busy times. I do go through periods of high use on my website and, unfortunately, periods of neglect. I also had the unfortunate predicament of having my computer stolen a few weeks ago. Yeah, that was fun. Good thing I invested in a backup hard drive, that’s all I can say. With insurance now squared away, I do have a lovely new computer. I also have to give props to my friend Adam Hecker at Apple, who was much help in getting it.
But back to business. I’ve gotten a lot of great feedback on my last draft of Samuel Jinx and I’m well into further revisions. They’re going swimmingly, I must say. As easy as it is to get stuck on ideas, it’s fun to change things up a bit. You don’t want to get bored with your own script, right? I’ve also rebounded with the old NaNoWriMo spirit and continued work on my novel, not quite with the same reckless abandon as during NaNoWriMo, but continued I have. I’ve been practicing on my snappy prose style in a few short stories that may carry further. As I said, busy times.
So, yes, expect more regular weekly posts on my blog, some updated links and screenplays, and perhaps even a short story or two.
And because there hasn’t been one for a while, I give you the Songs of the Week:
“Crossroads” by Cream
“Momentum” by Aimee Mann
and
“The Weight” by The Band
