Short Story: “The Stranger”
I have just posted my short story “The Stranger” in the fiction section. Written almost a year ago, this was a story that certainly grew as I wrote it and is considerably longer than any of the entries here. I may in the future post chapters to my NaNoWriMo novels, but those are really long. “The Stranger” is a little more managable.
Though the story hardly contains what I would consider a twist, there are a couple rather obscure pop-culture references that provide clues to where the story is going and what it is about. If you have no idea what I’m talking about (and most of you won’t), that shouldn’t degrade from your enjoyment of the story. If you do, hopefully you’ll smile at a couple of the choice names.
