Books Galore!
I have recently been turned on to (and become obsessed with) the literary insanity that is GoodReads. It has probably been described as MySpace for books, but that is really a gross oversimplification. You basically set up your own page and can list and post reviews of books you’ve read. It has pretty much become my new addiction.
The truth of the matter is that there are a ton of amazing books out there, and I was just as amazed by how many I have read as I was by how many (many many many) more I have not read. There are so many books that have stayed with me and so many books I want to read again. Mostly, I am just in love with the written word, and not only does GoodReads inspire me to read more, it inspires me to write more. If I can say in a few years that I wrote a book that belongs one someone’s list like one of the great books on mine, then I think I’d be doing pretty good.
